India offers
several scholarships annually to Armenian and
Georgian nationals under the Indian Technical
and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme. These
short-to-medium term scholarships are fully
funded by the Government of India. The
world-class courses include Information
Technology, English, Management, Criminology,
Small and Medium Industries, Pharmacology, Rural
Development, Mass Communications,
Standardization, Empowerment of Women, Total
Quality Management, Water Resources Management

Normally, the Embassy receives
intimation about the courses by different
institutes in India under the scheme in April/May
of every year. Selections of the candidates are
generally held three months before the
commencement of the course and all this process is
completed before the December of each year. The
Embassy does not entertain applications after
December.
Only dully filled in and
typed Applications along with CD (containing
scanned application) will be accepted. The
applications are required to be forwarded duly
recommended by the Head of the Organization/Office
where applicant is working and should be routed
through the concerned Department/Ministry/Office
in the Government.
Applicants are also required to produce medical
certificate from Registered Medical Practitioners
that he/she is medically fit to undertake the
rigorous training in India. Request for medical
treatment, tourism and travel on holidays will not
be entertained during the training period.
English proficiency certificate duly signed and
stamped by appropriate authority is also to be
submitted along with application.
Applicant should be between
25-45 years of age and should have minimum of five
years experience.
